2007D Jefferson Nickel

OK, picked up a couple boxes of nickels to go through this week for the coin book (still looking for that '50D).

One of the boxes was 100% 2007D Jefferson nickels (on the ends of the rolls at least).

So, my question is before I start cracking the rolls open, are there any major varieties identified yet to look for, or am I going to be the first to discover one?

You are probably going to have to be the first to discover one. With a coin that new who knows what errors could be out there.

Good luck, perhaps you'll get some nice double strikes or blank planchets.

 

Treashunt, I like how you used the plural there.

I guess it used to be easier to find errors when you could get mint sewn bags of brand new coins as the coin rolling equipment just won't roll certain types of errors.
