Posted this in the Ben's toning thread as part of examining different surfaces but thought I should put it over here as well. Any thoughts on this? http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee123/USS656/2007EagleWUnc1stOin2007.jpg It's minor - but looks really cool under magnification. Thanks for your comments!
Hello Darryl... That is a 2007 "W" AGE?? Not too often do you see errors or what I think is machine doubling( I could be wrong, as I am not and error person) on these coins... Is it yours? I love AGE and have quite a few of them.... the 1999 Uncirc "W" unpolished Proof Die error is my favorite by a long shot. I have both the 1/10th and 1/4 oz coins.. Nice find!! RickieB
RickieB It's a ASE Unc. Shown here: http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee123/USS656/GroupPhoto.jpg I love both silver and gold but can really only afford the silver with a few minor exceptions. Thanks Darryl
i agree with RickieB .. i think its machine doubling .. it looks like it shifted twice... you can easily see the 3rd line onthe inside.
That's why I thought looked cool. The doubling probably has a lot to do with why it was graded MS69. That picture is so clear it's just neat to see it this well. Thanks Darryl
