Well first off, I just recieved my 2007 presidents proof set. Happy when I saw it then looked closer and saw splotches on Washington and slashes in Jeffersons forehead, so I believe I will be sending it back for another one.

The thing is though apparently the 2007 Proof Set is including these coins. Did anyone know this beforehand? Apparently now Ill be stuck with 3 of these haha, assuming the silver proof has the coins as well.

Yes, I'm afraid that we all knew. The fact that the president proofs would be included in the silver and clad proof sets was widely reported on this forum over the past few months. I don't know if stuck would be the right word. Those extra 3 "gifts" could turn out to be quite valuable. They will be the only 4 coins with edge lettering and could be possibly the only 4 coins ever issued "if" the mint does make the changes recently mandated by Congress. While it's tough to get PF69 examples and even more rare to find the PF70s. These could be sleepers fer sure.

Sadly, I'm stuck with 40 sets myself ...bummer ...lol
