For both the Philly and Denver mint in 2007 for the Washington Dollar PCGS list the Position A & B Varities, I think I understand those well enough Position A Edge Lettering is upside down where Position B Edge Lettering is Right Side Up.

Now PCGS also list just a 2007-p and a 2007-d Washington and doesn't list it as either. It also has its own Indentifier, does anyone know what is different about those coins?

    PCGS Numbers
    148052 2007-P Washington
    150209 2007-P Washington Position A
    150210 2007-P Washington Position B

If you do know please explain how to figure out which one it is?

I couldn't find anything out on line, but if I had to guess since it was the first time they printed items on the Edge, PCGS graded a few before they realized that the words could be in either position, so the number it has is for the coins they did grade before they broke them down to position A's and Position B's.

    Thank You

Did you try calling customer service at PCGS and ask them what it means?

You got it. At first they were not putting the edge designation on them. They started doing that later. I don't know if they still put it on or not. Do they list it for any of the other presidential dollars? How do they list them?
