WOW! i just got a box today, the size of a small truck, and inside was the 2007 American Legacy Collection set. I had forgotten all about it. The set is alot wider then last years with the inclusion of the Presidential dollars. I really love this set. The historical info on the inside cover is awsome! hopefully, if anyone else ordered one, they get theirs. I dont think anyone will be disapointed!!!
Morning Dagg; I too ordered the legacy set and have patiently awaited its' arrival. The mint sent me an e-mail back on the 26th of December....at which time I started tracking the order via the info that they listed in my account information. This sucker has not moved for days...then all of a sudden yesterday there was movement. The boys at DHL finally had the package. Hope it gets here soon. Incidently guys and gals, it took me a while to figure out why, whenever you hit that link that the mint provides to track your shippment, that "no record" pops up on the tracking number. That's because the tracking number is tied to DHL not the postal service. You've got to go to DHL's website to track the package....don't know if anybody knew that....just thought i'd throw that out there for general info.
Interesting - mine(and my fathers) arrived via USPS. The box and set were, as mentioned, in a box the size of a small truck. It took about 10 days from the time I got the notice until the set actually arrived.
i was surprised at the size of this set. I had to shuffle around my whole safe to make a spot for it. With sets this size, i might need a 2nd safe
Morning Mark; My set finally arrived yesterday (also monster box) and it too was delivered by the postal service. In my earlier post I indicated that DHL was in the mix....they have an alliance with the postal service to drop ship bulk freight for them. Kind of cuts down on shipping costs for the postal boys..still, I wish they would use a domestic freight fowarder (DHL-Deutch Post).
