2007 D Jefferson 8th spike error coin with possible 9th spike

While box hunting rolls of these pieces of art came across
the 8th spike error on the ugliest coin in the box and after
looking at it seen a 9th spike it is thinner and longer
and runs along the edge of her throat.
Can anyone else see the 9th spike or is it just me after
to many hours of pickin ...

I see it. It is a small die scratch. Not really worth anything.

 

IMHO, it is too wide and not sharp enough to be die polish (die scratch). Check the other side for a possible die clash.

 

Or just a crack possibly, could it be feeder finger damage?

 

Breaks in the die DO NOT look like this. This is one instance where sharp images of both sides of the coin should be helpful.

 

Im sticking with die scratch.
