2007 D Dime missing clad and doubling

    Here's a 2007 D dime with doubling and a missing clad layer. Any opinions? For now, these are the best pictures that I can come up with.

    I'm not an error guy so I can't tell you if it is legitimate or not. The doubling, however, simply looks like die deterioration doubling.
    keep up the hunt!

    I should think that since the copper core is struck with the device, it was a defective planchet, which makes it a legitimate mint error.
