just a note to say that i got my unc eagles today...they don't have the nifty pouch this year. difficult getting it out of the blue inset packaging to see the reverse. nice coins, as usual. so if you ordered them...looks like they are on the way. steve

    ND,
Just saw a post on another forum where the member stated that he felt they would stop production on these similar to the 2006 W UNCs due to the productin resources needed to get the coins out that are planned for the rest of the year. Any possibility of that happening?

Mine arrived today, Tuesday, the 19th, I agree, prying it out of the packaging to see the reverse was a bit of an effort and I miss the little blue pouch. Oh well, had 3 more grandkids graduate grammar school this year and was waiting to fill out the card and include a gift. :thumb:

    pouch or box?

pouch or box?. which one is better?. the mint raised $2.00 from last year. is it because of the cost of box?. or simply the cost of silver went up?. anyone.......

Had 20 of my 06w graded by NGC, got 3 70's and 17 69's, still got them all. Ordered 25 of the 07's, but they will never stay close to the 06's in value.

    Should I return??

Mine arrived today... I too had issue with the new 'pouchless box'... when I first tried to lift the coin out, the capsule started to come apart!!!

Question is, should I return it to the Mint for replacement? This is the first time I have had an issue with a capsule from the Mint... (been purchasing since 1998)...

    Thoughts?

Got mine today. Had to take a screw driver to pry some of mine out. Think the mint caught so much crap about the some of their capsules bouncing around in the boxes , they may have gone the extra mile to make sure it did not happen again. I know that unsecured capsules was an issue with some of the Silver anniversary sets.

I received mine earlier this week. I would agree with bama guy... they wanted to make sure it didn't bounce around in the box like the anniversary sets. Mission accomplished.
