Is it just me? Lincoln's memorial has alot of steps to begin with but this one looks to me like it's got a whole lot more and in contrast, the colums seem to lack much detail. ....

Everything looks weird when magnified so much.

When I check out Variety vista or Wexler its always magnified so I just keep it that way so when I go to compare I don't have to go back and take more pictures. Unfortunately my microscope can't really take a pictures of the whole coin, it wouldn't be enough megapixels even if it did. I'll look into finding a cheap camera I can mount for the full coin pictures or something.

It looks normal to me. Maybe it was minted with a fresh Die so the correct number of steps are there.
