Hello again everyone, I am looking to buy a 2006 W uncirculated silver eagle (Z6F). Currently they are selling in the $75 - $90 range. I have the 07 and 08 and plan on continuing to buy each year from the mint. Just wondering what your opinions are for the long term appreciation on the 2006? Thanks, Bryan
I have some of these which I got reasonably priced. The prices are much lower now than they were a year ago, so it my be a good time to buy. You could have gotten the for about $65 each a few months ago, but I don't expect to see them going too much lower in the near future. If you want the whole set, then buy one (or more) if you get a good price.
Perhaps a "good" option is to start a set of NGC or PCGS 70's. They are still reasonable and being gems, a pleasure to collect and a great investment.
Disagree with this. ..and agree with this. So if you want one - go ahead and get. Maybe keep trying to win one at something cheaper than the current auction prices. Have fun.
