2006 Silver Proofs

I think they go on sale tommorow... Who is getting one or more sets???

Same here Smullen, Script for 2 sets I'd like to build two full sets of silver proofs, but if they act like the (( I may sell. One thing for sure. There will be some beautiful coins in there.

Mint's web site appears to work very well these days, compared to a year ago.

 

is it worth getting them? do they make silver proof sets every year?
I am debating about ordering, you almost have to order like 2 sets to break even after the shipping

Smullen, have you received any kind of information that you order is in process, shipped, etc? I also have a subscription set up for 2 sets and have heard nothing. I am wondering if it would be faster to cancel the subscription and just order them manually. I was under the impression that setting up a subscription got the order started and processed faster, but maybe not.

I went and checked the site and it said:

They been like that for days.... No shipped or planned Ship date shown... :headbang: .

 

Yeah I checked my status today. CANCELLED!!!!1 Do you believe that?
I called them and they couldnt find a reason it was cancelled

Told me they were sorry, I was welcome to reorder individual sets if I wanted to receive them
and I would have to wait to reorder a subscription

NOW I HAFTA WAIT AGAIN :computer:

 

Mine was in the mailbox today..just opened it and it looks pretty good,a keeper.

 

Pretty lucky, I have about a 50% return ratio.
Let me throw this out to everyone: If a dime has a small spot (not dark, not too bad) do you return a proof set?

 

Well, speak of the devil...I just got an email from the Mint a little while ago and my order has shipped. I guess I'll keep my subscriptions after all.

 

I've got the subscription and mine came Saturday, I think. Or maybe it was Monday.
