I found a 2006 dollar bill with a minor off-centered treasury mark and serial number but the off-centered treasury mark is noticeable. I compared it to another dollar bill and you can see the difference. Is it an error and does it have any value? Thanks!
Yes it is an error but due to the condition, I would value it at a a few dollars. I bought a more dramatic one in AU conidition for around $30 off ebay last year
The first one isn't even perfect. It doesn't even make that one look bad. Compare it to a newer more efficient dollar and you'll see a difference even more. Deffinately a cool error! Just so you know, I haven't seen any that dramatic so it has to be something, because I have gone through a significant amount of $1's. -Travis
Should I sell it for $5 or more? I might not sell it since this is my only dollar error but I was just wondering how much I should sell it for.
I don't want to offend you with your finds and hopes you may have for it but if you get $5.00 for it, you did good.
