118 modern commemorative dollars by 2007. if all get through. total modern commemorative silver dollars will be 118. proof silver dollar 61 and uncirculated silver dollar 57.
2006 b. franklin dollar 2006 benjamin franklin silver dollar have two design at 250,000 maximum mintage each. first one is named scientist and the second is founding father. it composed of proof and unc. it also have a legacy set.
You know I thought 2006 San Francisco Mint Dollar would make it through first this year. I think the Roosevelt Dollar is still waiting on the same House vote. Would be interesting, although I personally feel IMHO that giving the nod to "The Granite Lady" is a bit more substantial than honoring TR for receiving the Nobel Prize. Didn't know about the Little Rock, thanks.. Did know about the Jamestown, and I am setting aside the money for the gold a little bit each month as we speak.
new silver I will have to get in line for the franklin dollar, I am fascinated with ben,s life. I will probably get a T.R. also, as he too led an interesting life.
I might save for the Jamestown. I'm not a big fan of the silver commems except that they make decent gifts.
2006 & 2007 commems i think 20,000 + unc. for both little rock and jamestown. and benjamin franklin can be a sold out candidate. also t. roosevelt will be popular too.
Capital Visitor center and Salt Lake Olympics $5 unc gold coin both came in very low and SLC is a big city. That Cap visitor's center is bring a few dollars now.
I'd have to see the designs before making a buying decision. A rare ugly coin is still an ugly coin, lol, and a good looking common coin is still nice to have even if not a great investment. I'm a coin collector, not a coin investor, and aesthetics of coins means a lot more to me than mintages. May very well get the Ben Franklins if they look good to me. Especially interested to see a depiction of a younger Ben Franklin, as most illustrations of him were done late in his life.
Central Park metal tile I know this isn't the right place to ask this, but I had no idea where else to get information on this Central Park metal tile. I had bought it at a storage shed where the people had abandoned the contents. If any one can tell me what the value of this is or if it is just a gift shop item from New York. Thanks
My picture of this item is 750.8kb and it is saying its too large. and should not be largerthan 100.0 kb . Why is this site giving me problems with uploading
someone forgot to mention ten state quarters, four presidential dollars and four First Lady eagles. I won't get any of the last, but they deserve to be mentioned. The 2007-09 mint and proof sets are going to be huge, what with the state quarters, presidential dollars and the Lincoln bicentennial pennies!
the only commems i have come across that have been selected for next year is the Jamestown commem... where is the documentation on the Little rock commem to be found? Also the Roosevelt has not been selected as of yet for this year either.... of am i missing that documentation as well?? If anyone knows where documentation can be found that the Roosevelt commem and the Little rock commem are to be produced, please let me know.
