I found 2 2005P Bison nickels with cuds in the U of TRUST on the obverse.
I did a search for 2005 nickel cuds on ebay and didn't find any! Has anyone else found any? Are these worth anything? I put them in my error/variety book anyway.

The proper term is "die chip". These are quite common.

    Hi,
The word CUD is usually used to describe a break in the die near the edge that results in a piece of the die breaking away. The coins that are struck with that die have a raised area of unstruck metal visible where the die break occurred leading out to the edge of the coin. It looks like a Blob of metal at the edge of the coin.
