2005 S Sac Proof Struck Through obv Die Crack rev

Just picked this up the other day. Not too familiar with proof errors
thought it was pretty cool though. Have seen quite a few strike throughs and and die cracks on the business strikes but VERY few on the proof coins.

I like the die crack,I dont see them too often on the proofs,very cool

 

That is a very prominent die crack. Cool find.

 

Nice find, not to sure what the smaller one is...

 

Really cool die crack! It looks like it is a partially-retained strikethrough. Correct? I'll have to dig out my 2005 American Legacy Sets and see if I can get as lucky as you.

Very Cool Error!!

Last year I sent a 1998 Roosevelt to NGC for grading!!
I bought the 1998 set on eBay.....guess the seller missed the Roosevelt.

 

Chris,
I looked at the pictures again and it does give the appearance that
something is retained in the strike-thru. But in hand there is nothing retained
it is like there was two different items very close that were struck-thru of different lengths and thickness. Very Strange.
I wish you luck with the hunt through you Legacy Sets.
