this is probably a very very dumb question, but I found a 2005-p nickel and in the book I have for errors it says to look under the buffalos belly for the error. The coin i have dosnt have a buffalo on the back. it has trees. is this right? sorry if its a dumb question, but Im bored here lol thanks BILL
In 2005, the mint offered two version of nickels as part of the westward series collection. One coin was the bison and the other was the ocean in view. You must have the ocean in view nickel. As a note, the westward series collection was also in 2004. It included the Peace nickel and the Keelboat nickel. I have a bunch of these coins through HSN. They caught me hook, line, and sinker.
