I found this Kansas quarter but it doesn't have the orange color around the collar. It doesn't seem Any different from other quarters except the collar has a silver look to it. Never seen it before except on silver coins... Any thoughts?
Agreed! One of the offerings from the TV hucksters during the SQ program was a complete set of low grade uncirculated coins that were plated in gold, platinum and silver. When the suckers who bought these sets realized that they weren't worth more than face value, a lot of these sets were dumped into circulation. Chris
