I bought this 2005 d mint nickle for 50 cents. A good buy or no?

you paid to much. you paid for the plastic it was in.

If you like it, it's only 50 cents.
IDK what CGS is.
There's a good chance if you get some rolls of nickels at your bank,
and search through them, you will find plenty of modern nickels in this condition or even better.
And then, you can spend the leftover nickels. (Coin acceptor at grocery store.)

 

Yea, got it from flea market that and a quarter paid a dollar for both.
