I found this nickel in change. I would like to know if this in a minting error. There are circles inner, starts from IN God and goes all the way into Jefferson s middle of head. the mint mark P is smashed. I dint pay too much attention to this coin until I found two quarters with the same kind of circles.

When any coin is at the end of a roll and is pressed too hard against a roll crimper machine it will leave those circular marks. Not a mint error of any kind Also known as.. The Ring of Death
