I recieved this as a Christmas gift awhile back and I cant determine its value. 10 rolls are P and 10 rolls are D. Do these boxes of nickels sell for a premium? I think they were sold by a company like World Monetary Exchange or something to that nature. They came 500-P or 500-D. The person who gave me the gift said he bought one of each mint and divided them 10P/10D each so that each box would have half of each mint. These nickels are BU and appear as they do in this pic I found online. Here is the only one I could find that has sold on ebay. It sold for $44.99.

You might want to check listings on eBay. You'll probably find that these rolls would probably sell for $3-$4 each. Mint-wrapped rolls might sell for a little more, but I doubt it. The economy is making eBay shoppers very cheap.

I have 20,000 of the Westward Journey nickels, so if you know someone who will pay 25c each, I'd like their telephone number! J/K! It doesn't matter what any price guide lists for value, they're only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Aren’t nickels made of...well...nickel? Except for the WWII ones, anyway?
