This just came up on a website. Does anyone know anything about it other than that its a bullion coin?? I think its only available in proof. I couldn't find it on the USMINT site. I find it beautiful.
Here's a mint state one but only 10 hours left.At least you know they're available and cheap too! http://cgi.ebay.com/BUFFALO-INDIAN-...ryZ39489QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting
shatsi, those silver buffalo rounds are made by private mints, not the U.S. Mint.In 2001,they did issue mint and proof buffalo dollars but they're quite pricey now. You can find them from most online US dealers. http://dylancoins.com/Commemoratives/2001buffaloindex.html If you shop around, you can find them from $100-125.I got mine with missing certificate of authenticity for $95
Thank you for the info, I'll have to wait till I accumulate more $$$ but it'll be in my wish list. I guess Ebay will be my best bet.
I HATE those private mints. They do their best to missrepresent the facts. How do you know if a Buffalo Dollars are real? Ruben
Because ICG is known to overgrade newer (After 1964) coins...and more so in higher grades.... I think there are more MS/PF70 out there by ICG then any other TPG... Speedy
It's not that hard. The design is different on the genuine coins for one. And all the real ones are dated 2001 and none of them have the word COPY on them.
