Surprised me to find this in a roll from the bank. color doesn't show in pics but it has a golden color. Plated!

Plated and maybe an extra leaf?

 

Not the extra leaf variety, which was caused by a disgruntled mint employee that scratched the dies, at least 2 of them.

 

Extra leaf was first thing I looked for. Definitely not!!

 

Same here. It’s very distinct if you know what to look for.

I know what I want for my birthday, which is in May.

 

I have heard that before. There is also the 04D Roosevelt double ear.
Much rarer than the high leaf, low leaf.
