I am awefully tempted to sell my 2004 US Mint Clad Proof Set on ebay. Now seeing that it is going for over $60 in some cases. That is more than double the $27.90 I paid to get it from the US Mint. Will prices continue to rise for this set? I know that none of you can see the future but I would appreciate your educated guesses as to the future of the 2004 US Mint Clad Proof Set.
I went to a dealer the other day and he's selling them for $69.99, I don't think anyone has the answer to your question,only speculations as to how much these sets will go. They are low mintage. If you need the money, I would sell it and double your money. Hope this helps.
No one can ever say what the future holds - especially regarding coin prices. BUt I think you should be asking yourself a different question. Why did I buy this set in the first place ? If you bought it for your collection then selling it won't do you much good. If you bought it to sell - then sell it and be done with it. As they say - a bird in the hand.............
