Forgive me if this was covered in a past thread, I am new here and tried to find it BUT?? I was going thru my proofsets yesterday and found 2 of my 2004 Clad sets that have a black almost impossible to see number "2" on the dime date, If you twist and turn you can make it out. This is under a microscope, Naked eye it seems to disappear. Has anyone heard of this error? I just ordered a new error book to learn about errors as I am finding them very interesting thanks to this board. Bob ^..^
bobcat Your description is a little vague? are you saying that the 2 is not present on the coin ? or that there is a second 2 ? Rick

It is like the Quarters of a few years ago where if you angle them you can make them out, But they appear Black in color and barely struck. I just ordered a camera to use with my microscope. I believe I have found a new interest thanks to this board.
