2004 nickel error?

    Came across this unusual looking nickel and I am not sure on what would cause this abnormality, let me know what you think. i also have more westward journey series errors if interested

    You posted an obverse photo of a clip without the reverse. Why?

    I do believe that's his finger partially covering the Obverse of the Nickel in question

    I don't think so. The clip is shown on an obverse at about 10 o'clock, so there would have to be a reverse showing a clip at about 7 o'clock but there isn't.

    Sort of looks like the top of the 2 in the date from the obverse, but it's not incuse even from a rotated clash.
