I read the post under "Variety and Errors" about this topic. I have to say I totally agree. These are NOT extra leaves rather die gouges. However the numbers of such coins found drives the price. Not to mention the misunderstanding about the "error". I belong to a local coin club and according to the latest newsletter, as of June 7, 06, "The extra leaf 2004 WI quarters now have educated guesses on the mintage figures. ....High Leaf 3,000-3,500,.....Low Leaf 4,500-5,000." (Taken from the Mesa Coin CLub Newsletter: Meeting of June 7, 2006) http://mcc.anaclubs.com

I couldn't reply to the post so I had to do a new thread. Sorry if this is so repetative!
