Whoa whoa, I have a pcgs grade ms-67 sac 04 D, does I'll sell it for a hundred dollars, any takers, lol....No seriously though, that price seems to be outrageous....But I guess some people are willing to pay that much....
And while they're on backorder, the Mint should be selling more 2004 mint sets shortly. In other words, they haven't made all the MS-68s they're planning on making. What's with the great *white* luster they describe on a gold-colored coin?? And no picture? What's up with that?!?! I think they're selling this coin before they even get it back from PCGS. Yikes.
I was kind of thinking the same thing with the white luster.....Maybe they mean like "the great white shark " of coin luster????? Heck if I know
For a Sacky graded MS68 - that price does not surprise me in the least. There was a time when I would have paid it myself.
Personally, I couldn't see paying that much for any coin without a picture. Even if it's professionally graded, I like to see the item for myself.
I cannot bring myself to pay hundreds of dollars for a modern coin that is not rare overall. Because the ultimate pop of these is not known yet, modern ultra grades could be the next coin bubble. Remember when common date MS-65 Morgans (i.e. 80-s, 81-s) sold for $1,000??
That's interesting, as I have many laying around. Might as well sell em now, as the price isn't likely to be higher than it is right now for a couple hundred years. -Ilya
