Hey this at first can be weather worn but i looked a lil closer and it looks like there are 3 tops of the Queens head amongst many other defects I also am having trouble finding a P Or mintmark also on the D Of Canada looks like a 6/9 on top and opposite side looks to be a number 2 in the sepia photo

I see a roadkill coin with severe corrosion. It would probably be impossible to see any subtle variety on a coin such as this.

I hope you don't feel bad after I say this.. but that is the worst coin I have seen on CoinTalk all year long! There was a contest for ugliest coin months ago. You should enter it :sour:

Looks like your coin was in a fire and is just severely damaged

Not anymore! Just a photo of a typical zincoln (zincoln is slang for zinc cent :)), that I find metal detecting.

Pure genius.. cost 1.7 cents to make, traded off for 1 cent, and self destructs so no one can have it. Last one holding is a loser.

After the year 2000 (except for a small run in 2006), Canadian 5-cent coins are struck on multi-ply Ni-Cu plated steel. You are looking at rust bubbles and other environmental factors that have destroyed that coin...
