A large spot on obverse above liberty, small spot under trust, reverse, several spots, several. Any information I would really appreciate it thank you
Your 2003 Cent is Copper Plated Zinc.. What you have are Plating Bubbles. When the bubbles are exposed and the Zinc underneath is exposed you will get Zinc Rot Sadly.. you see these types of Non-errors on Ebay listed as CUD's
Here is one going for $27.00.. it's only worth 1 Cent! http://www.ebay.com/itm/172084788233?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
After more research and what others have spoken about it , zinc rot is the conclusion. It is however going good in the cool bin. So far since hunting I've only found the 1971 half dollar with what I'm told is an excellent specimen of mechanical doubling. I've been learning alot so thank all of you. The hunt continues.
Omw @paddyman98 , that's sooo crazy. So they are trying to pass that off as if it's worth anything, mine as waaaayy more bubbles and they are all clear as day.
Even some of the letters are haggard bc of the bubbling, definitely going into cool jar, but this really opened up door of new knowledge I was unaware of so thank you everyone
