Looking for an opinion on this 2003 quarter. Looks a little funny around the nose and down across the lips and even up into the forehead. Thanks in advance 2003 Illinois quarter.jpg Sun Nov 08 10-53-04.jpg Sun Nov 08 10-53-41.jpg Sun Nov 08 10-54-04.jpg

Based on the contact marks. I'm going with PMD ( post mint damage ).

It doesn't take much from those 17 years of circulation to damage any coin. Do you really think that the Mint would go to all the trouble making a die like that?

Looks like post-mint damage to me as well.

PMD. Took a hit. Worth 25¢.
