    Maybe you mean if your Quarter is Missing Clad layer?... It usually happens just on 1 side of the coin.
    If both sides are a darker color than a normal Quarter then you have an Environmental Damaged coin.
    Need pictures of both sides and weight if possible

    cleaned it up on the edge you see a copper colored center tail side has a black line head side has no line at all tail side has silver coating head side is blackish

    You can describe your coin until no more words exist and no one will be able to tell you what you may, or may not, have without seeing photos.

    These videos on YT claiming that these coins are worth a million dollars, brings 20 people in here every day with a dirty coin they dug up with a metal detector.
