2002 liberty dime question

    Right away sorry but no pic at this time. Question; is it unusual to find a 2002 liberty dime that is copper on the obverse, reverse and the rim. Found it in a roll of canadian pennies. Waiting for a digi camera wish I could post a picture, however would appreciate any ideas on the description. By the way , I'm new here. Hi to all. :) :) :)

    Hi Daggit welcome to the forum !!

    There are a couple of possibilities for a coin such as you describe,, Keep in mind without seeing the coin they are just possibilities !!

    One is a planchet that was struck missing the clad layers,,

    or the clad layers have been chemically removed,,

    or the coin has been plated with another metal,,

    Post pics when you can maybe it can be narrowed down to one cause or another.
