I can't even begin to think what happened to this 2002 d. How about some expert opinions.

A coin's Ugly neighbor.

 

You know Sal, I think it was a palm sander. And it is a good look at the relief that each side was struck. Gotta admit that I have altered a few coins for reference.

 

I always get a good laugh out here. How could somebody do that and be so exact with the outline of the memorial. Nice picture of the sander thank you again kind people

 

Stuck in a washing machine between the fixed and rotating drum. That might be one I made!!

 

To your second sentence-a Dremel could do this.

My question is, "WHY????"

 

A grinder of done sort. As in someone with too much time on their hands tried to make a genuine mint error. They failed miserably. Lol
