2001 S PCGS PR69DCAM Sacagawea

    What happened to the value of this coin? It went from around $150 all the way down to $50! Anyone know? Good time to stock up on them? Thanks

    I saw that same thing at my coin shop. They had the coin listed for $75. Had two of them, one guy bought one, went in the next day, demanded his $25 back. I was like, woah. 25 over night....what a drop.

    I just bought a 2001 Mint Proof Set today for $25. If you subtract the value of the proof quarters, I say that you can get the $1 coin for roughly $10-$15, so even at $50 they are hardly a bargain.

    Definitely not a good time to stock up on them at $50 a pop. The population of PF69s is going to grow and grow.
