Sorry friend - there is no way to tell what you have, or how much error premium (if any) it might command, without seeing it.
Hi again ronster I have several cents that have anomolies that affect the mint mark in various ways ,none of which add any significant value to the coins,, just as I answered in the error forum concerning your coin. if you manage to get a pic I would be interested in seeing the coin ,,my opinion could change based on new information !! Since I dont have a coin that exactly matches yours, does the anomoly coming off the mint mark look similar to this one coming off the leg of the R in liberty ? Rick
Die cracks seldom add any significant premium to a coin's value. They are very common, and occur when the die starts to deteriorate under the pressures of repeatedly striking blank planchets. Think about concrete driveways, and the way cracks often start in corners. Much the same process is involved in typical die cracks originating at points like the bottom of the "R" in Metalman's posting, or the mint mark on your coin.
There are a great many collectors who have no thought of value whatsoever - they just collect what they like. And die cracks make a coin different - some folks like different. Of course there are some who collect coins with die cracks because they think it makes the coins more valuable. But satootoko is correct - it very, very seldom does.
