2001 P dime cracked

I posted about my peace dollar so I thought I would ask about this dime. This is the first defective coin I found in my change and this coin is what got me interested in errors. I don't know much other than what I read on-line. I want to know is this what they call a die break? I have not seen any other coins with this bad of a crack in them. Any help would be appriciated.

Some people like them but generally they don't add any value to the coin.

 

It's a well-known shattered die that incorporates a 50% retained cud. Its value is somewhere around $125, judging from eBay prices (which vary from $57 to $225).

 

A lot of 1990-2008 seam to have cracks. I think they run the Dies way to long!
