the first pic is of a reference photo i use of wexler's dies and varieties. the coneca 1-0-VIII. i was wondering if this is a ddo because i don't see the small die gouge above the Q. ty in advance
exactly. i only see the 2 of them. the 001 which i got my reference photo from has extra hair? and the 002 has the earlobe. if mine is the 001 i don't hae the die gouge above the Q. so could mine either by a different one? or...and this is stretching because i know nothing about it, but an EDS of the 001? would the die gouge form after? or be present from the beginning?
The die markers are a way to help you confirm, but confirmation is the doubling itself. Die markers come and go, and you are correct that yours could be an earlier die stage.
