Hello, my name is Denise. I was wondering if this is an error coin?

Actually, it is an off-center strike or perhaps a brockage on the reverse.
See how the rim is much wider on one side than on the other?
    Maybe it's a Mis-Aligned Die (MAD).

I get those three mixed up quite often, and I'm just really too lazy to look them up each time to be sure.
One thing's for sure, there is not a lot of added value to any of those in this case. It's not really significant, however, it could be a keeper if you don't have a better example.

Both incorrect. It's just a slight misaligned die strike on the reverse side ;)

    Common issue and nothing major.

I'm not sure if that's a shadow, but it look like part of the lower bust is missing . Need a better image to know for sure .

First, welcome to the neighborhood, Denise!

There is nothing special about this coin. So, it would not be worth keeping, BUT your photos are outstanding. In the future, it would help if you tried to identify what you think you see instead of making this a guessing game.

Trival - zero value MAD - on the reverse.
The obverse is a stain until an angle photo proves there is some disturbance of the surface.

Yes the coin you posted is a error coin. It is common one that really adds no value to it. It does have a Mis-Aligned Die (MAD) strike on the Obverse (date side) of your coin. This is caused by the hammer die being tilted or just slightly off center.
It also has some interesting vertical lines in the area of the word liberty. Not sure
if it is a stain or a bump of the surface. Looks a bit like roller lines.
As to being nothing special or worth keeping, that is only for you to decide.

As I suggested in my 3rd sentence.

As I stated in this sentence :

" One thing's for sure, there is not a lot of added value to any of those in this case. It's not really significant....."

Thanks for agreeing with me, pm98 !

Your coin is stained and the reverse is a minor MAD or misaligned die. It’s only worth a quarter. Welcome to CT.
