2000 VDB doubled die?

    It looks to have another v and d to each right of the original letter's ...the b seems to be not doubled. I tilt it, and the v and the d move to another angle.

    Hi,

    The VDB is recessed into the coin, The term for that is incuse lettering.

    What you are seeing is machine doubling on incuse lettering. That's how it looks.
