    Hello everyone! :D

My mother had pulled this out her purse to pay for a lottery ticket, when I stopped her becuase I noticed the quarter she was about to pay with was "copper" colored. So I took it home to clean it, thinking it was just corrosion, and walla! Nothing happened? The reverse has a stronger copper color than the obverse for some reason?

All comments and questions are more than welcome, thanks! :)

I am showing different lighting to suite what is best :D

Honestly, it looks like a normal corroded coin to me. If you want to know for sure, get it weighed. If it is a missing clad layer coin it will be 1 gram lighter than it is supposed to be. If it isn't, then it is a corroded coin.

I concur. Looks corroded and/or burnt.

Even if it's missing a clad layer, in the condition it's in it wouldn't be worth much over $0.25
