What's up with your 4 toy cars? I think that's a scratch on the eagle. And the obverse has coin wrapper machine damage. Known as the ring of death.
The wounded eagle variety is caused by a gouge or damage on the die. Since recessed on the die, it will be raised on the coin. Also, because it is a die related variety, all wounded eagles will have the raised mark in the same location. Your coin has a recessed mark which would indicate a scratch or similar damage. Plus, it's not in the correct location.
Your coin is scratched. Did your four toy cars all hit ice and slide out of control, flipping on their sides?
Thanks people you know it's funny nut I'm sitting here looking at matchbox cars and you talk about sliding on ice ironic don't you think
