2000 quarter railroad rim

    Now that I figured out what it is in the error forum. what is it worth?

    A genuine railroad rim will mushroom out at the unstruck portion of the edge.

    well it does measures 1.87mm thick and 24.30mm in diameter so it has mushroomed just a bit. might have been knocked down some while being in circulation.

    just re-checked the measurements on the nickel struck section it measures 24.26mm (as a regular quarter does) and on the copper unstruck section it measures 24.30mm so it has mushroomed out at the unstruck portion of the edge.
