I have a 2000 Penny but it is struck onto a dime molding. It is made of nickel not copper. I have searched on the interent to find out about it but with no luck.

Has anybody come across something like this, would you know what value this has.

It had an offer of $20.00 5 years ago, and I had an offer of $60.00 today.

I really need more information on this.

Lets see a picture of this coin. Sounds interesting. You could probably get more then $60 for it, btw.

Now value will depend on authenticity ( such things are faked ) and the condition of the coin.

Thanks for your replys, I will get a picture of it up on the site soon.

I should have mentioned that it is a CANADIAN Penny cast in a CANADIAN Dime Mold.

That does make a difference ! Can't say that I have heard of one of those - but then I don't collect Canadian. They may be known - they may not.

My avatar is an example of an 11 cent peice, very cool.

Yes there is a HUGE premium on this coin. I bought it for $500 and now I could probably sell it for a grand. But it's NOT for sale.

The one from Canada should be worth quite a bit, but I don't think as much as a US coin would bring.
