What is going on with the reverse? Is it a strike through? Thanks!

I can see where it could be glue. Maybe I’ll see if it peels off. Thanks.

See if acetone will dissolve it.

Hey, is acetone basically nail polish remover ?

No! Nail polish is not pure acetone. Pure acetone is what you would want to use to remove glue, dirt or grime from the surface of a coin.

Nail polish remover can be acetone or ethyl acetate as the effective ingredient, but it also contains fragrance and often stuff like lanolin, which you don't want on ANY coin. Get 100% (or 99+%) acetone!
