I have a 2000 P Dime. It has a different color than any other dime I have seen.( It's almost a dark grey color) and all of the coin is the same color. There is no places on the coin lighter or darker. I'm trying to explain the coin with as much detail as possible Incase I'm not able to load a picture of the coin. Thanks in advance

Coins found in circulation can acquire toning of this sort from any number of chemical or environmental means. It's not unusual.

Environmental damage. It likely spent some time exposed to the elements.

it looks to me to be more like it has some improper annealing. Interesting. Just looks to even for environmental damage. i am known to be wrong though as are we all.
