    Do you mean that you found a 2000 cent with the P mint mark on it? If so, is the mint mark clear, or are there only traces of it. If it is clear, then it may be worth some money.

    This coin is not a copper penny,it's a Roosevelt dime but still it's not hardly worth anything.

    Perhaps it is a roosevelt dime with an improperly annealed planchet?
