2000 New Hampshire Quarter

    Found this error on the New Hampshire Quarter. The mint mark “P” is doubled. Comments please.

    All the others I looked at weren’t like that.

    I believe that. That being said, you do not have an error coin. It's hard for me to tell based on your picture but I am guessing you are referring to the right side of the "P" correct?

    Looking at the entire picture you can see wear and numerous bag marks. This indicates that the coin has been roughly handed giving the appearance you are seeing. Just more wear on the side of the P than normal.

    Based on the pic it appears to be the beginning of a worn die, I see doubling in IGWT and also the bottom part of the hair line DDD. JMO
    But I have been wrong before. Lol
