2000 Library of Congress Bimetallic

    Talked about picking this up in a prior thread; I finally have it! With box & COA, the box has some slight damage.

    Being that they only made 27.6K of these in proof (Wiki) and 7K in BU, and it being the only bimetallic US coin to date, I was surprised how close to melt this sells (at Greysheet Bid).

    As a side question, does anyone know where to get Modern Comm. actual mintage numbers?

    I had the chance to pull the trigger on one of these back in 2000. Didn't do it and have regreted it. I've always admired the bi-metallic effect. Congrats on your newest aquisition Inquisitive. :)

    PS: Did you try the Red Book for those "modern" mintage numbers?
