This one is almost funny. I have never seen Lincoln as wrinkled as this...the 2000 hit with a grease filled die? On reverse, the doubling in America is causing my wide AM to look like it is close...any takers on this one? :mouth:

Could be a struck through on the obverse and the reverse looks like a normal worn die or die deterioration for a 2000 cent.

I agree, possible struck through on the obverse - doesn't look like a WAM

    Hi Michelle,

It was struck by a worn die and it isn't a Wide AM. Besides the A and M being close, the distance between the M and E is larger indicating a normal coin.

On the Wide AM coins, the distance is almost equal between the A, the M and the E. The E is closer to the M on Wide AM coins.

    Thanks,
    Bill

Jello, I beleive your cent is a WAM but I need a bigger photo. I agree with all of the above that the 2000 is not a WAM.
