2000 D Penny coin edge error

    Hi guys! Im just new in coin collecting. I happen to have a 2000 D penny that i think has some errors in the coin edge. May i know your opinion on this particular coin. Thanks in advance.

    I see a faint ring on the field and through some of the Letters. This is a common occurrence called a Worn Die Strike.
    It could happen on all copper plated zinc cents.
